I recently purchased a 3070 Ti semi and have been operating it smoothly until this evening while playing FF14. During the session, I experienced a hard GPU crash. Audio from Discord and FF continued to play normally, though the displays were completely off. I've already updated my drivers and reinstalled them; nothing significant appears in the event viewer. The only details I've seen are: 1) The DSM service lagged by 63 seconds during a driver query/download/install on a specific device, and 2) The Open procedure for "WmiApRpl" failed with an error indicating the device wasn't ready. Performance data for this service isn't available. My attempts so far include DDUing drivers, switching to PCIe-4 in BIOS, reseating the card, and toggling it on/off.

I just woke up, and I will begin testing of these factors soon. I have been on windows 11 since the first beta went public, so I've been on it for quite some time. I do have a windows 10 install sitting on my other drive so I will test that too. test one of today: Cold war Multiplayer, settings maxed. report: No Crashes Overwatch 2 settings maxed. report: full crash. test 2: Windows 10 First test with Overwatch 2, no crash. 2nd test with FF14, no crash. I am chalking this up to a windows issue at this point, since my windows 10 install is running into no issues whatsoever.

I installed it first when I moved to ASUS boards. You probably think it relates to the RGB software. Luckily I’m familiar with those errors—Nvlddmkm. I haven’t encountered one yet.

I don’t have direct access to run tools like the Windows Reliability Monitor. Could you confirm if you’d like guidance on how to check it yourself or provide more details?

Hardware issues are being reported. The install process completed without problems. An SFC scan resolved a Bluetooth driver problem, but further errors persist: codes 193, 117, 141, and 144 appear frequently, especially the 144 crashes. I recently reinstalled Windows 10 version 2070, which crashed immediately after launching Overwatch 2. It seems the power supply unit might be failing, which is encouraging.

Enhance your IOBit Driver Booster for hard disk monitoring. Execute the command to run Chkdsk on C: with options for fast, repeated, and recovery checks.

Remove the Unistall Armory Crate using the official uninstaller from the motherboard's website. Disable it within the BIOS settings.

It wasn't about any software issue. My power supply completely failed. The PCI-E cable also melted.
