Symptoms: In certain games, after 2 to 20 minutes a black screen appears CS2, CS:GO, Anno 1800 experience black screen issues Never encountered a black screen during hours of gameplay Sound continues to play in the background when the black screen shows up GPU fans immediately increase to full speed What steps have I taken to fix the issue? Performed a clean reinstall of Windows 11 Installed all required drivers from MSI (my mainboards manufacturer) Updated the current NVIDIA driver Switched from an 850W PSU to a new 1000W PSU Reviewed Windows Event Viewer for clues, none detected Ran a memory test without errors ( https://www.memtest86.com/ ) Followed all recommendations from this forum thread: https://forums. System specifications: 12GB MSI GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X PLUS OC LHR GDDR6X 3xDP 1.4a 1xHDMI 2.1 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz (16 CPUs), ~3.6GHz Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250) MSI B560M Pro-VDH Wifi (B560,S1200,mATX,Intel) Be quiet! Running Power 11 Platinum (1000 W) Any suggestions on: the possible cause of the black screen? What additional actions can help resolve the problem?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Perfect clean reinstall of Windows 11
Did you install the OS in offline mode? Where did you obtain the installer for your system?
MSI B560M Pro-VDH Wifi
What is the BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment?

I'm not entirely clear about what you're referring to with "offline mode." It seems you might have missed using this setting. During the setup, I linked my PC to a local Wi-Fi network. I made a bootable USB drive using the media creation tool from Microsoft.

Current BIOS Version 1.80 (06/08/2023) Updated yesterday before the Windows reinstall.
