Hey, I had an issue with xmp being enabled and the whole system crashed. The mouse, keyboard, CPU, and memory lights came on too. After resetting the CMOS with a jumper, removing the battery didn’t help. Anyone have any advice? I’m trying to fix this ASRock B550M Pro4 R5 5600X with GSKILL Tridentz 2x8GB RAM, 3000MHz, ASUS 3060 Ti, OC 650W EVGA PSU, 2TB Crucial SSD. Any suggestions?

Additionally, my RAM RGB isn't activating the two lights—DRAM and CPU.

Shut down the power supply, detach the SATA devices from the connectors, discharge the CMOS battery for five minutes, restart the system, then update the BIOS.

Are you correct about the RAM placement in the pictures? It seems most motherboards have the main 2 DIMM slots in A2 and B2. If that matches, consider moving them to the second and fourth slots away from the CPU (if available), or the first and third slots if those are used.

I powered down all devices and switched off the battery; I had to reset it and removed the battery completely for an hour.

I corrected the RAM slots by simply swapping them, which reset everything and worked. Thanks guys!

It might have taken a while after resetting the CMOS, around a minute or two, until the first POST appeared as the RAM was being reprogrammed.

Someone understands I repeatedly attempted, kept waiting, and the RAM RGB didn't activate. It remained unresponsive, only activated once before resetting several times until it posted.
