Hi, yesterday I installed the new release preview update for Windows 11, played a few games and then turned off the PC. Now I wake up and try to boot it, but it either shows the Welcome! Loading screen or a black screen with no cursor. Anyone have any suggestions?

Unplug the ethernet cable before powering on. You might need to restart your pc several times, possibly more than once quickly, to see if the automatic repair screen appears and attempts to enter safe mode. After that, use the troubleshooter.

I'll attempt to disconnect it. Even though safe mode isn't effective, I've already tried.

You're experiencing a situation where your drives have been swapped in the command prompt. Typically, the E drive holds games and apps, while the C drive stores system files. Now having the C drive as the E drive and the E drive as the C drive is unusual but not entirely impossible.
