I was playing Apex Legends when the screen went black. I could still communicate via Discord, and the PC worked fine otherwise. After a restart, it occurred during normal tasks like opening Firefox tabs, downloading the game again, or moving files between NVMe and SSD. I reinstalled Windows and the latest Nvidia driver, but the problem repeated while updating drivers. Once I waited a minute, reset the PC, and after rebooting, the driver installed properly and my resolution stabilized at 1080p. My system specs include a 12600k processor, 3060ti EVGA graphics, 3200 Cl34 RAM, Corsair RM750x, Z690-A Pro, and the latest BIOS (version 1.81). I backed up files, reset BIOS, updated to the newest stable version, reinstalled Windows, and redownloaded the game. I ran a 10-minute benchmark with smooth performance and good FPS, confirming GPU health. Now I’m using default BIOS settings—only disabling one core and enabling XMP. It seems the issue might relate to CPU or RAM stability rather than GPU communication. Earlier I tested high overclock settings (49 cores, 45 ring ratio, 3600 MHz RAM), but those didn’t cause problems. How could CPU or RAM be interfering with the GPU’s signal? I’m unsure how to pinpoint the exact cause.

This suggests your overclocking setup might be underpowered. The issues you're experiencing could be linked to insufficient voltage, especially when handling heavy tasks like file transfers or running many applications at once.
