Yes but why does it matter what someone else likes? Need to form your own opinions, they can't be wrong, you don't need approval from others that you picked the right color or even picking from the most votes. It's a color, not some actual part like a CPU where you actually can get a better one. Colors are just different, there is no better or worse one when it comes to this type of stuff.
I have the same desk, all my stuff is black with rgb led lights for mood (second pic in blue on) and some light when the room lights are off. But that does not mean that I would not think white looks nice, or silver, or red, or...
It’s unclear why others’ preferences matter; images are available online for personal selection. Do you prefer that components appear visible or concealed? Are other computer parts or accessories white? Seeking unsolicited opinions resembles a forced union.

However, why does it matter what another person likes? One must form their own opinions; they cannot be wrong. It is unnecessary to seek approval from others regarding the selection of a color, even if it receives the most votes. Color is not comparable to a CPU, where superior options exist. Colors are simply different; there is no inherent better or worse when considering this type of subject. I have the same desk; all my belongings are black with RGB LED lights for ambiance (second picture in blue on) and some illumination when the room lights are off. This does not preclude me from finding white, silver, red, orange, or purple aesthetically pleasing.
I would choose whatever complements the rest of my equipment. In my view, a white keyboard would pair well with a white mouse and a white PC case, creating a pleasing contrast against a black desk. Conversely, black peripherals and a case would be appropriate. Would you please share an image of your current setup?
