I recently reinstalled Windows 10 Pro N and encountered issues launching two of my favorite games from Steam. The changes to shortcuts forced me to restart everything. Now Black Ops III, GTA IV, Borderlands 2, Rocket League, and Civ 5 are all running smoothly. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Thanks.

Have you checked the option to confirm the game files' integrity in Steam?

It seems like nothing is working as expected. I believe there might be an actual issue I need to address. Others have recommended checking for updates through Windows, but I haven't seen any improvements.

Consider moving the folder to your desktop, removing the game from your library, then reinserting it and installing GTA 4 via Steam.

This didn't work, but reinstalling the game drivers might help. I'm unsure which came with the game, so I'll need to check and try again. I'll let you know once it's done.

You're unsure about how to search for games in regedit—start by exploring basic registry paths related to games or applications.
