Hello! I’m curious about whether upcoming AAA games such as BOIII and Battlefront will be available during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or the holiday sale. If they are, what discounts might be offered? Since I’m new to PC gaming after joining from consoles, I’m unsure how much these prices would be. I have two titles in mind that are quite expensive, so I’d like to know if there’s a chance to get a better deal.
I doubt there will be much more than a 20% drop, since these titles are only a couple of weeks old—especially for Battlefront, which is just two days old.
I expect significant savings on new releases (perhaps not Battlefront). I purchased GTA at full retail cost near its launch and it fell to around $40 a week or so later during a Steam promotion. The same applies to DA:I on Origin. I got the game during Thanksgiving for about $45 (a $15 discount) on Origin, just when it launched.
