Hello everyone.
Here’s what I have so far:
My setup includes:
Gaming Rig 1: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Gigabyte X670E Aorus Pro X
Trident Z5 32gb DDR5 6400
RX 7800 XT
Corsair 850 PSU
I noticed my internet speed varies when streaming through OBS. About half the time it stays steady at 8000 bitrate, but around a quarter of the time it drops to 1000-2000 for a few seconds to a minute before returning to 8000.
I was advised not to exceed 8000 bitrate because weaker signals on tablets or phones might cause issues. I’m not sure if that’s accurate.
I’m hardwired and have three other rigs running simultaneously, with others using Netflix or similar services. Still, one gigabit seems sufficient for everyone.
When I check speedtest.net, my average download is 800-950 and upload is over 50.
Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Always make sure your specs are set correctly in the body of your message. Some users choose to hide the signature section, so they might not notice it.

It might be because Windows is executing another program in the background. If these interruptions happen frequently, such as every half hour or hour, you could check the Task Scheduler to find tasks running at those intervals. It could be something like Windows Edge checking for updates every hour (which it usually does) or Chrome checking for updates every hour, etc.
