Never forget your account password. A strong password is essential for access; without it, you can't use the system and won't be able to handle any data. Unless you remove the drive, BitLocker steps in by locking out external access (unless you possess the recovery key). It's too cumbersome to ask two passwords for everyday users—though some highly security-focused organizations might prefer this approach. As discussed in Group Policy, you should have reviewed the information earlier. You likely did so during your Windows 10 setup back then.
