Hello, thank you for reaching out and checking in before I begin. I appreciate any support you're offering. I'm dealing with a motherboard that has dual BIOS from Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master. Due to problems with my 2080Super—which I suspect is nearing failure—I decided to switch to the internal graphics of my 9900K. Before making this change, I had my CPU overclocked to 5.1GHz across all cores. After enabling IGX, adjusting the default graphics output to internal graphics and saving the settings, I can no longer boot from the main BIOS. Clearing the CMOS didn't help, so I turned off the dual BIOS option on the motherboard. Now, whenever I try to power on my PC, regardless of the current BIOS position, it boots from the backup BIOS. This was a similar issue during my first CPU overclock; after pressing the CMOS clear button, the main BIOS came back online. Can I find a way to resolve this main BIOS problem?

The guide should detail the process for updating your secondary BIOS settings. If it doesn’t connect you automatically, begin at page 91.

Recently I changed the bios to the newest version. The backup remains on the original unit. The user guide mentions: "For system safety, users should not manually update the backup BIOS." However, no details were given about automatic updates. It seems unclear whether this works since the main system boots directly from the backup.
