biosHow do i reset a manual clock
While I was working with Ryzen Master, I mistakenly adjusted my memory clock. After rebooting via CMOS, the system started up normally, but I couldn’t enable XMP or any other settings. Since I can’t access BIOS without a black screen, I’m using Custom OS now. I still want to use XMP and similar tweaks—anyone have advice?
I believe you often find a reset option near the power switch on your computer. Trying this should restore your BIOS settings to their original state.
This button isn't intended for that purpose. It's meant to restart your system if it becomes unresponsive or freezes. Be careful not to give wrong information. You might want to check your motherboard manual; there should be a CMOS or BIOS reset jumper you'll need to use to bring your BIOS back to factory settings. Sometimes briefly disconnecting the power for about 10 seconds can help.
It seems like your BIOS settings were restored by a reset. I'm not sure if that's the case, but I'll try to help based on what you said.
