BiosCant cannot connect to bios
Hi, recently purchased an MSI gaming plus B550 motherboard and flashed the latest BIOS for Ryzen 9 5900X. Windows boots normally but I can't reach the BIOS menu when pressing F1, ESC, or other keys. Restarting to BIOS works too, but the screen stays black after entering it. I've tried various BIOS versions, reset the CMOS, swapped RAM sticks, changed displays and slots, removed extra components, and more. Still no display appears. Any advice? Otherwise everything seems fine with Windows.
Tried changing the battery an hour ago, let it sit for ten minutes, then reinserted it and made sure the PSU wasn’t connected. No improvement. Not sure if I need to try booting with the battery on, but it doesn’t seem like a safe fix. Will check if that could cause bigger problems before proceeding. Ty for the response
It depends on your system—unplugging drives might trigger a BIOS reset, but a black screen could indicate other issues like power problems or hardware faults. Check the manual for specific steps.
