Hey! I realize now that thinking newer is always better isn’t the best approach. Last night I went through a lot of updates—Windows, apps, PC cleanup, Gigabyte AppCenter, and the BIOS app. I also installed the @BIOS update for “EASY” bios. It took some time downloading everything, and I chose to switch to the F6 BIOS version inside the app. After a reboot prompt, the process was slow, involving hours of trying to boot and switch settings. I cleared the CMOS by shorting it, but the board still refused to boot properly. It’s frustrating since the board is usually strict about BIOS and overclocking, and I was hoping it would revert to an older version automatically after a power loss or overclock. Now I’m stuck with nearly 2k components that won’t move due to a faulty BIOS. I’ve already contacted Gigabyte support about the “Advertised DualBios” feature and how to regain access to the default BIOS that auto-boots. I’m unsure if there’s a way to manually update the BIOS using Rufus or a bootable device, and I’m not sure if a warranty exchange is possible. Maybe removing the battery could help? Let me know what steps I should take next! Thanks in advance.
