I need to upgrade the BIOS for my i5 6500, but updating it requires downloading the Overcloaking BIOS to a USB drive and using Q Flash. However, the system reports "No device found."

What motherboard and BIOS version are you attempting to utilize? The i5 6500 is a secured processor, needing BCLK tweaks for overclocking if the BIOS allows it. I think only ASRock models offered this feature temporarily before it was discontinued again.
