Bios Update Without USB-Stick for X570 Motherboard
Bios Update Without USB-Stick for X570 Motherboard
Hello, I'm looking to change my motherboard but don't have a USB stick. Can I update the BIOS without one? I've tried using the manufacturer's software, but it didn't work. I shared the full steps I took, and even then the system said the update succeeded. However, every time I boot up, I see the message to update again. I checked the screenshots of my BIOS before and after, and it seems like the update isn't actually applying. According to the Gigabyte support page, version F11 should reflect a release date of December 9, 2019, but the date on my PC doesn't match. Who's telling the truth here? Am I still up to date?
If F11 represents the newest release, running it suggests you're on the latest build. Check your BIOS settings during startup to confirm the version displayed. The release date might be incorrect—new versions rarely drop just three days apart. You can update the BIOS through software, but doing so from a USB is safer and less risky.
the bios mentions version F11, which suggests the update software might be faulty
