BIOS Update Problem
BIOS Update Problem
Following the BIOS update to F9, the multiplier displayed was x39 but only showed 3890.70Mhz when using x39. When switched back to F8, the same issue persisted with x39 at 3890.70Mhz. All BIOS settings remain in Default mode. Assistance or tips needed to resolve this? Prior to the update, everything worked perfectly. I attempted a fresh Windows 10 x64 installation, but it didn’t fix the problem.

BCLK in BIOS is Auto. Im looking forward to OC but i thought that i might had a problem since i cannot reach max CPU frequency in stock mode.
I suggest, you read some info about, how Intel turbo boost works.

For your CPU - max frequency (3.9ghz) is reached only in single-threaded workloads (1 or 2 cores active).
3 active cores would give max 3.7ghz, 4 active cores - max 3.5ghz.
You're concerned about the 10mhz frequency. That's actually less than 0.3%. It's not the frequency itself, but what caused it to happen and how it affected you. Everything was normal before.
SkyNetRising :
It's still fine. You're obsessing about nothing.
Hmm, dont think i m getting obsessed but i think my CPU starts losing lifetime?
How is the lifespan being affected? Are you overclocking your CPU? It doesn't seem to be. Are your CPU temperatures too high? If they're acceptable, then everything appears fine. Minor changes in BCLK are worth noting. You might be able to tweak BCLK by 1mhz in BIOS, bringing it up to 100.8mhz instead of 99.8mhz.
SkyNetRising :
How is it loosing lifetime?
Are you overclocking your CPU? It certainly doesn't look like it.
Are you subjecting your CPU to excessive temperatures?
I temperatures are ok, then it's all good. Small deviations in BCLK are noting to worry about.
You could probably adjust BCLK by 1mhz in BIOS and it would be 100.8mhz instead of 99.8mhz
BCLK in BIOS is Auto. Im looking forward to OC but i thought that i might had a problem since i cannot reach max CPU frequency in stock mode. Temps are fine so far never above 65 playing Bf4.

BCLK in BIOS is set to Auto. I'm expecting an OC but I was worried I might have an issue because I can't reach the highest CPU frequency in stock mode.
I recommend reading about how Intel turbo boost functions.

For my CPU, the max frequency (3.9ghz) is only achieved with single-threaded tasks (1 or 2 cores running).
With 3 active cores, it caps at 3.7ghz, and 4 active cores drops to 3.5ghz.
Understood. Appreciate your assistance, friend. Have a great day.
