I began setting up the latest BIOS version using the MSI tool. The system rebooted and now the boot and VGA indicators are lit, but there’s nothing visible on the screen. I tried connecting an HDMI cable directly to the motherboard, remembering that my CPU lacks built-in graphics. What should I do? HELP! I’m nervous about restarting since it’s strongly recommended against during BIOS updates. MSI X570 Tomahawk Wifi Ryzen 5800X3D RX 6950 XT

The X570 plus 5000 Series may need some time to finish memory training following a BIOS update. It hasn't started booting yet.

Checking the MBOO or GPU BIOS settings. Did you reset the CMOS before installing the update? Does the GPU support more than one BIOS? If yes, toggle the power button.

Is it merely halted without any action? Like when RCMAHEL inquired about how long it had been stuck?

I do it, but I've moved all my USB sticks to another place.

It might be due to a failed flash; you should perform the flashback when possible. Another possibility is that updating the BIOS could cause compatibility issues with previous settings—consider shutting down completely, clearing the CMOS, and restarting.

It seems the update didn’t work properly. If it doesn’t come back online, you might need to try a BIOS flashback with a USB drive.
