New mobo+cpu+ram
7700x
MSI B650-P Pro Wifi
2x16gb Kingston Fury Beast DDR-5 6000mhz
Occasionally, after saving and exiting BIOS, the system freezes. Keyboard and mouse stop working. The mouse cursor vanishes from the BIOS screen while the monitor still displays it frozen. All fans and RAM/GPU RGB lights remain active indefinitely. This seems to occur randomly, around half of save and exit attempts, without any clear pattern. I couldn't consistently reproduce the problem, except during saves and exits. I tried updating the BIOS to the latest non-beta version, but resetting CMOS didn’t help. Manually shutting down after a freeze is fine for me; I’m unsure if this indicates a bigger issue or if I should just overlook it.

I would upgrade the BIOS to the most recent Beta release, identified as 7D78v172. After confirming the flashing of the BIOS, clear the CMOS. Then attempt to adjust settings within the BIOS configuration.

Thanks, i will try that !
As a side question, if there is a problem during BIOS update (such as power outage, or cat "accidently" jumping on power switch), does the button that allows to update BIOS with a flash drive without CPU/RAM fixes it ? Or does it still brick the motherboard ? Asking because i suffer from severe anxiety and the few minutes it takes flashing BIOS sometimes triggers a panic attack.
