BIOS supports overclocking features while the system does not.
Hello everyone! I'm attempting to push my i7-7700K overclock on a Gigabyte Z270 Gaming K3 motherboard. Each time I tweak the BIOS, the clock speeds update on the monitor but fail to appear in Windows or monitoring tools. I've experimented with different approaches—BIOS guides, CMOS reset, BIOS versions, power plan settings—but nothing works. Putting the CPU under load doesn't seem to help either. My system is fresh with all drivers updated, and I'm still seeing no changes. I've noticed some adjustments only appear when using specific software like XTU or Gigabyte EasyTune, but I'm trying to rely on BIOS settings. Could anyone offer some guidance? Thanks!
