Bios shows 11 VRAM options as grayed out.
on my second machine with a 2400g and vega 11, it had only one stick of 8GB RAM at 2400MHz. I discovered a good deal on two 8GB DDR4 3200MHz modules for a discount. I upgraded the system, but when checking in CPU-Z it displays just 1GB of memory. I know the Vega 11 supports up to 2GB, but the BIOS setting is hidden. What options do I have?
This information needs to be stored in memory automatically by most operating systems. What you're doing is essentially disabling your control over it. Don't be concerned.
Just checked Fortnite and it looks like VRAM usage never exceeds 982MB, usually staying near 890MB or 975MB. At 1360x768 at 3D scale 100% with anti-aliasing enabled, textures and effects run low, and I maintain 70fps to 130fps most of the time—about 85-100fps. That’s significantly better than the 35-65fps I was getting when I lowered settings to 50%, 3D scale 1x, using an 8GB DDR4 2400MHz system.
