Hello my system doesn't post, so i've decided to update my BIOS. My system is builded already, so my question is should i remove all the components installed or there is no need and nothing to worry about? Im confused since some people say it needs to be performed on bare board only, some say it doesnt matter....So its up to you guys to help me out. Spoiler Otherwise I am ready with my UBS 2.0 [8GB] flashdrive with the '' 7C94v18'' update inside.

You can update the BIOS using your system's built-in tools. If it doesn't appear, it suggests you might not be able to boot into BIOS.

Potentially brick the board because you have it set up is a Bullshit statement. Which U-Toober is that? Once upon a time, you couldn't update bios without the system built. It won't matter. Cpu and ram installed or not, you should be able to update bios either way. It does not matter.

Agreed? That's why I'll make the update initially.

His channel is called "Mike's unboxing, reviews and how to." Thanks for the fast assistance! I'm ready to try it out and will make sure there are no power issues until it's done!

The system isn't indicating it can't reach the motherboard splash screen or BIOS. I just double-checked. Updating your BIOS should work without problems. The usual reason for a brick is losing power during the update, which shouldn't happen.

Mike's first look at the package... curious about why he mentioned flashing with CPU might damage it. Could be a previous issue? Are you installing CPU support now? Or the system won't load and you're attempting a flash? Knowing the specifications might be useful.

It seems the issue isn't CPU-related. Any alternatives? Let's try a different GPU or check your current setup. Good luck!
