Hello, I've assembled a PC around three years ago. The M.2 slot wasn't working properly and would sometimes fail to recognize itself. After installing Windows 10, it functioned correctly as long as the system was powered on. A few days later, when I added a GPU, the problem disappeared until recently. Now I need to remove the GPU and the issue has reappeared. I'm unsure what's causing this and can't even boot into Windows to check. Any advice would be greatly appreciated... My setup includes an i5 9600k CPU, MSI Tomahawk Z390, 8GB RAM, HP EX900, 120GB SSD, and a 650W PSU. The M.2 is in the second slot due to a thermal pad, but moving it to the first slot didn't fix the problem. The BIOS is up-to-date, and resetting it hasn't helped.
It depends on your BIOS configuration. Are AHCI or RAID activated? Probably there’s an SSD or NVMe option as well, along with the speed settings—X4 or X2.

I didn't receive it, but I sent it back to the seller I purchased it from, and they confirmed it functions properly with their platform.
