BIOS has been updated and now limits playtime of GTA V Enhanced to five minutes or less.
My system details: Tuf Gaming X570-Plus, Ryzen 5800X, RTX 3080 Tuf Gaming OC V2 LHR 10G version. I bought RAM just a week ago, managed to remove GDM and restart twice. Updated drivers three days back and changed BIOS settings yesterday. Tested all games and programs without issues. Recently, playing GTA V caused freezing and crashes. Event viewer shows an error about NVIDIACorp control panel and a connection failure. I ran NVCleanstall and optimized Windows, but the issue started after BIOS update. Some cores show high PBO values while others are stable. There are repeated errors like "Windows Update service failed" and "No internet connectivity." It seems the problem might be related to aggressive PBO settings or network instability.
Return to default settings on the motherboard and attempt the game once more. If it still fails, adjust BIOS settings gradually and by one step at a time. After a crash, go back to the previous adjustment.
