Hello everyone! I'm facing the same issue as someone else, but it's with the Asus Armory Crate. I'm trying to switch my mainboard into stealth mode because my PC is off, and I'm expecting a baby soon. My wife is already upset about the RGB/LEDs. Every time I attempt to enter stealth mode, it resets after just one shutdown. Even after changing the settings, Windows won't boot properly. I also tried switching to S4+S5 mode, but it doesn't help. Recently, after a hardware upgrade this week, the problem started happening again! My mainboard is an Asus Strix 590-e with a 11700k CPU. Thanks if you can assist me!

Some premium motherboards support dual BIOS configurations, which can sometimes cause issues. I’m not sure if this applies to your situation. Updating the BIOS might be worth checking, especially if you’re dealing with an older version. Changing the BIOS can be crucial—incorrect updates may lead to problems. There could be other factors at play, and you’ve tried all possible recovery methods. Clearing the CMOS battery is worth a try, as well as investigating any shutdown behavior.

Once the CMOS was reset, the PC remained in that state (photos). Then appeared the ROG boot screen and everything stopped afterward—I can’t fix it at all… wow, help!

Check BIOS flashback using the ASUS website. Your motherboard supports this feature.

The issue seems related to the drive or Windows settings. The loading logo with dots appears after the POST, which means you should still be able to access the BIOS. It might be due to an unusual storage configuration. Incorrect IDE or AHCI settings could also cause this behavior.

Absolutely, try booting and see if it works. If it fails, disconnect the drives to check if that resolves the issue. The boot process can sometimes be frustrating, especially if the CMOS wasn't reset while the system was running. This should help you pinpoint the problem and understand the debug indicators.

Aura performs poorly and its setup is flawed. My issues only fixed with a BIOS update, which also added new firmware for the RGB controller about a year ago. The settings you save when restarting or reinstalling Windows aren't stored in the firmware, unlike my 3070. Right now I'm stuck with rainbow output and RAM activity because the software consumes too many resources. Still, I own a dark 3070. RGB has existed long enough; its controls should be part of the UEFI, that's just a thought.

Currently everything appears to function properly after the BIOS update. It's odd that the Asus Armoury crate provides a March update instead of the latest July release. Thank you all for your assistance!

Hey everyone… sadly I’m still facing some issues. I haven’t had any problems for about three or four days. I didn’t install any programs at all—just played some games. When this happens, the system tries to fix startup, but it doesn’t work. Sometimes I boot into safe mode and then Windows restarts normally afterward. I’m pretty sure everything is properly connected. I’m not sure what to do next…

I just installed the newest BIOS update again. The computer didn’t power on and began the automatic repair. I’ve booted it into safe mode, and it functioned properly. After a shutdown from safe mode, I tried the standard startup and it worked. Then I initiated a full reset by deleting all data, but the PC failed to boot after the first restart.
