I really don't understand the problem. It seems like something is wrong inside the motherboard. The CPU fan connector doesn't work. It spins when you press power but stops after booting. CPU model: Amd Ryzen 7 5700X, Board: Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master ATX AM4. Updated April 30, 2023 by The Blue Chicken. Image attached.

To operate the smart fan, access the settings through the BIOS. The app has previously had issues. I use the same board but a revision 2 from about a month ago, which offers improved temperature control for the chipset—meaning the fan isn’t needed. Just choose the fan in BIOS, you can adjust curves per fan individually, and verify your selection before saving. Check both the top and bottom sections for manual settings like fan speeds. In BIOS you’ll also notice speed changes when modifying the panel on the right side. The dedicated smart fan desktop app isn’t very useful.
