I just updated the BIOS on my motherboard, but now it doesn’t load in full-screen or HD mode. The startup times feel a bit slower. In Windows everything looks fine, but during boot it’s using an odd resolution. The OS is showing Windows 11 Pro with a Ryzen 5 5700x, RTX 3060, and Gigabyte b550 gaming. BIOS version FFc, 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 at 3600MHz, PSU Be Quiet!, and it’s delivering strong power (12m 650W). Appreciate any advice you can offer.

The UEFI often includes an option to adjust the menu size for better display. Its name or location varies depending on the board model. For Gigabyte systems, using the search function is typically an effective starting point.

No matching option exists, and the standard ctrl+f6 key for adjusting resolution only displays two resolutions that are entirely different from the usual settings.

UEFI resolution has often been inconsistent across different boards. It looks like you were lucky it worked on your screen before, since this hasn’t happened for me. Unless it’s preventing you from adjusting settings in UEFI, I don’t think it’s a big issue.
