I recently assembled my first PC and the main problem I faced was that one of my 1TB NVMe drives (WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe™ SSD) wasn’t being recognized by Windows. I verified the BIOS several times to confirm it was present and even installed the Western Digital SSD dashboard to rule out hardware issues. I also switched the M2 slot from 02 to 04 on my MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WiFi DDR4 motherboard. Additionally, I attempted to update the drivers via Device Manager, which reported all drivers were up to date. Are there any possible fixes for this?

Open Disk Management, format the drive, and it appears as unallocated. NFTS is enabled for the file system during formatting.

You observe the storage devices and their current status within the disk management interface.

Launch DiskPart, and display the disks to confirm they appear. If it shows the correct drive, choose it and execute the clean command, ensuring you verify the drive before proceeding. For guidance on using DiskPart, refer to the provided YouTube tutorial.

Share a picture of the drive; look for hints in its appearance.

I can't display your device manager directly.
Let me know if you'd like instructions on how to access it.

Visit the MSI website to obtain all drivers except the onboard graphic. Install and restart the system.
