Bios c-states and speed adjustment
I was experimenting with BIOS settings to boost performance. I have the SpeedStep enabled on auto, but someone advised turning it off. They also suggested disabling CPU C-states, enabling multi-core enhancement, and turning on speed shift technology. I own an i7-9700F and an Asus motherboard, and I’m just starting out—any advice would be great!
Nah no need to touch any of these things C-states, downclocks CPU when there's little to no load. Does not affect performance at full load MCE: only usable on CPUs with unlocked multiplier, in other words not on the 9700F Speedshift: lets clock speed jump up faster, but is enabled by default in the first place.
