Check your PC settings for processor details. Look at the bottom for "About," where you'll find the system type—ensure it shows both Windows and CPU as 64-bit. If unsure, search online for instructions on verifying this information.

He might be running a 64-bit version of Windows, which allows more RAM than a 32-bit OS can support.
