Typically, most boards include American Megatrends Inc bios. The exact layout and menu organization depend on the designer or organization, and personal preference plays a big role. However, most are quite straightforward to modify because the chips are already heavily boosted in the box, leaving little room for significant changes.
Looking at popular options such as ASUS, MSI, ASRock, Gigabyte, etc., the ones with the most refined BIOS layouts are usually ASUS and MSI, known for their detailed menus and stability.
Most motherboard BIOS designs are quite alike. If you're interested in a particular board, you can search online for overclocking guides and watch YouTube tutorials to identify the exact BIOS version. Personally, I find Asus' designs attractive and user-friendly, though that's just my perspective.
You're from the early 2000s, right? I guess people are talking about the GUIs that come with most motherboards these days. I prefer MSi and Asus models. I haven't used a Gigabyte one, and I wouldn't risk a Asbiorockstar board with a bargepole either. That's my two cents.
I usually choose Asus, but you can see from the comments above that it depends on personal preference. Still, they’re generally quite similar. In the past, Gigabyte had different terms that might confuse others compared to MSI or Asus.
