Yes, reinstalling the BIOS is generally safe if you have the latest version. It’s a good practice to reset it for consistency or updates.

You wish to reinstall the BIOS because it is necessary for proper system operation or compatibility issues have arisen.

We need your details to assist you effectively. Reflashing the BIOS won’t make a difference. This won’t automatically improve performance. If your RAM’s XMP profile isn’t functioning, consider using something lower or set the timings manually.

asus prime b450mk ryzen 5 3400g hyperx fury rgb 16gb 8gb*2 @3200mhz (sometimes drops to 2400mhz) seagate barracudea 1tb 7200rpm hdd vega 11 igpu zalman wattbit 500w 83+ psu i tired xmp/docp. i experimented with 2666 mhz, adjusted timings, changed voltages, reset bios, but nothing fixed the issue. once ram speed exceeds 2400mhz the system crashes and demands a bios reset. bios is current and all components appear functional—games run smoothly without glitches. what might be causing this problem? my ram stays at 2400mhz and I can't force it to 3200mhz.

Attempted 2933, which is typically the recommended value. Also checking if the PSU fits properly—though the unit is in a lower quality tier, I’m still open to it.

It's true, it's just a mass-produced, low-cost unit with a basic design. It's been available under various names for a long time, using the same power supply unit but with poor quality. I'd go ahead and replace it even if there are issues with the RAM. Check out the PSU tier list and choose a B tier or higher model.
