I've been playing DayZ for several hours over the past two weeks without any issues. I'm familiar with the game and can handle most major problems (including needed mod updates). Two days ago I was playing smoothly. Then I tried to log back in, but when it started, the screen went black. It was late, so I didn’t notice. After updating my GPU drivers, I fell asleep, and the next morning it happened again—just a black screen. I searched online, tried all the suggestions, changed my graphics settings from 240 to 60, rolled back the DDU driver mentioned in a YouTube video, and even ran the game in bulldozer mode or reinstalled everything. I also tried logging in as an administrator, switching between windowed and fullscreen, and even reformatted my computer’s drive thinking a corrupted driver might be the cause. The error message kept appearing: “couldn’t init dxdiag.” I’ve already reported this to Bohemia support. I’ll include the DxDiag file and report here if it helps. I also wondered if my memory usage reaching 98% at startup is normal, but I’m not sure if that points to a hardware problem. Also, I asked a friend to check my GPU, but he won’t help for some reason.
