Hi, here are your details in a different format: I own a Lenovo Legion laptop equipped with an i7-14650HX processor, 32GB of RAM, and the Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics. My screen resolution is set to 2560x1600, which gives me around 50 frames per second when playing BF6. Initially, I switched to 1080p and saw a slight improvement to 70fps, but it later dropped to around 40 or 50. The GPU seems to be operating at about 30% usage while the game runs. I suspect the hybrid mode might be causing the issue. I've adjusted settings in both the Nvidia control panel and Windows to use the dedicated GPU, but it’s still a hassle to switch frequently. I prefer not to rely solely on the dedicated GPU since I need flexibility and don’t want to constantly plug it in.
This. @op it's a modern game, it needs the dGPU. There's not really any arguing against this.
I think there is a way in Windows for you to list which games/software will use what hardware. If you can find it, tell it to always run the game on dGPU. Other stuff can still move around like before. I'm not familiar with it since the first thing I do if I possibly can is disable the iGPU, but recognise that doesn't work for everyone.
It seems you're having trouble with the laptop's screen. You might try turning it off and then switching it back on to see if that resolves the issue.

I don’t plan to rely on the integrated GPU for gaming, just want to maintain hybrid performance. Windows or TV should handle app needs. However, the issue is that the GPU load remains low even when forcing dGpu usage.
I favor hybrid mode since it uses less power when I don’t need the full GPU, making it more efficient for casual browsing.
I think it's pretty standard to have to turn off Hybrid mode to get the most performance out of the game. Did you update your GPU drivers? If there's no update for the title, then that will probably result in reduced performance. It's also a beta...it's not the completely finished game. They likely still have small tweaks and optimizations to make. Really, though, I think you just have to suck it up and take the little bit of time to switch off hybrid mode when you're gaming plugged in. If the amount of time it takes to switch over to the proper setting is really that hard for you I think you need to take a look at your time management skills and level up.
Confirm whether you're running the game on a connected device. Check Lenovo Vantage for any pending driver or firmware updates before starting.
