BF5, Far Cry5 crashes to desktop without any notification.
Hello, I'm experiencing issues while playing games. Usually, I play for about 30 to 45 minutes before the system crashes with no error message. This happens every time I set the 3000MHz XMP memory profile as per the factory settings. However, when I choose auto 2133MHz it works fine. I've updated the latest Adrenaline driver but it still doesn't resolve the problem. During gameplay, the GPU temperature reaches around 80°C under full load, while the CPU stays near 60°C. This matches the specifications of my computer. I have a Ryzen 3500X with default B450M Steel Legend, running the latest BIOS P2.90. The system uses Patriot Viper Steel 2x8Gb 3000MHz with XMP profile VGen 256 and NVMe ASRock RX580 Phantom Gaming X 8GB. A 550W Silverstone PSU is installed. Can anyone assist in maintaining the XMP profile at 3000MHz without causing crashes during gaming? Thank you.
If XMP/DOCP is active but not when disabled, your memory performance may be inconsistent. Often the issue stems from low SOC voltages. You might consider manually adjusting it to 1.2V for continuous operation. Starting with 1.1–1.15 seems like a solid approach.
The voltage is fixed at 1,340 based on the XMP profile. The image shows the settings you referenced.
