At first startup I experienced around 100 frames per second, but recently the rate has dropped to about 50 fps occasionally. I've updated my games but still can't pinpoint the cause. My system runs with the newest drivers—any suggestions?

Have you verified there aren’t many programs active in the background?

Ensure you're using drivers like Nvidia GeForce Experience that modify settings in certain games. It affected me, making AA jump to maximum and making me wonder why the game felt different. Haha, just a thought. Otherwise, shut everything down and test your FPS. Look at your temperatures—maybe your components are throttling due to heat.
