After enjoying my 970 for a while, I started monitoring its performance during BF4. I was surprised to find it running only around 50%-70% even when I set everything to low. While it’s normal to drop in 64-player servers, this level of usage isn’t typical. I can push it to 80% max if I increase the game settings and boost resolution to 200%, but it doesn’t feel right at 30fps on my PC. I’m aiming for 60fps and want to know if upgrading to an i7 (4790k) or a new motherboard could help. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Make sure the CPU is running at its best settings. I think the graphics card might be handling everything well, so it’s not a CPU issue. The system seems capable, but the GPU could be the limiting factor.

Processor overheats significantly even with an NHD-14, reaching up to 57°C during gameplay, and peaks at around 65°C...

It seems the GPU is very powerful, allowing high performance even at lower usage levels. You're looking for more power because you need better results or smoother gameplay. The benchmarks show strong performance at 1440p with around 62 frames per second.

Consider lowering the AA settings, it seems your CPU might be limiting performance.

No, AA doesn't really matter.

It seems like you're suggesting that reaching a certain height is achievable. Would you like to discuss how to improve your stamina or technique?

CPU limitations are common complaints for users with 8350. It struggles to handle 970 players on 64-server 1080p setups. Similar issues arise with 4670k and 290x, though Mantle helps. D3D causes gameplay problems. Battlefield 4 appears very demanding on the CPU. Test case 2 from DICE indicates FX-8350 can't support 7970.
