Some players load a full mag of shotgun slugs and still manage to hit 100% of targets in BF3 and BF4 because they’re using precise aiming, consistent follow-through, or even exploiting environmental advantages like cover and terrain.

Assault: I stick to medic tools, mainly paddles and medpack. Not keen on other equipment. My top pick is F2000: Holo|Mag 2x|Suppressor|Folding grip. (Still my main choice for the Assault class, though Ace 23 works well too. AEK shines when you need rapid fire.) For sharper shots I switch to AUG, but watch out for its slower rate. AUG A3: Coyote|Mag 2x|Heavy Barrel|Potato Grip. Ace 23: Holo|None|Heavy Barrel|Folding Grip. AEK-971: Holo|None|Suppressor|Angled Grip. (Curious why I have the suppressor—maybe the barrel suits me better? Not sure, I rarely use it.) I also favor mechanic upgrades alongside medic gear. -- Engineer: Prefer mechanic over anti-vehicle in Engi, but you can swap the repair torch for mines or blasts. Still stick with a torch and rockets where needed. Primary. ACW-R: Holo|Target Detector|Suppressor|Folding grip. (I like the detector for spotting, but it’s annoying during pointing—it’s a solid fit.) MK11 Mod 0: PSO-1|Target Detector|Suppressor|Bipod. (I usually go with a bipod at medium ranges, but you can change it if you wish. The target detector is optional, though I’m not sure why you’d pick another slot.) Mechanic upgrade for me. -- Support: My go-to for close combat with C4, but with a LMG it’s fun to bipod and stay quiet. ACW-R: Holo|Target Detector|Suppressor|Folding grip. MG4: Holo|Mag 2x|Heavy Barrel|Bipod. (Recommend tap firing when possible.) For some reason, I’m using def perk here. -- Recon: Always a sniper unless I want stealth with a suppressed carbine and motion sensors for SWAT-style play, which rarely happens. I favor staying behind a good scope—my best headshot is around 1.7km. I usually use a spawn beacon and a PLD; the beacon helps teammates get better spawns in certain spots.) M98B: Rifle Scope|Variable Zoom|Flash Hider/Suppressor|Straight Pull. (I set up a close/medium rifle for accuracy, with solid bullet speed and plenty of rounds in one load.) SRR-61: Ballistic|Range Finder|Flash Hider|Bipod. (My long-range rig is a setup for camping and precision, with a range finder that eases zeroing without constant PLD checks.) Obviously, the sniper perks apply. -- Sidearm: I usually pick the Deagle, mini-RDS with suppressor. You can add a laser if you like. If you’re uneasy about a heavy sidearm with limited ammo, I also try the 93R—used earlier when I preferred pistols. It fires faster and has a good magazine size, with mini RDS and suppressor like the Deagle. I only use M84 flashbangs because I don’t want to rely on damaging grenades, but feel free to choose anything. Knife's Weaver—it’s solid. I’d also add vehicle loadouts, though mine are generally weak against other vehicles, except maybe the Attack boat where anyone can do well.)
