While playing, I observed the scope reflecting a snow map. It seems DICE LA might have considered others uncomfortable using it continuously, so they likely adjusted it.
Because the map isn't available yet, I'm confident those issues will be resolved before the DLC releases. That's essentially why we're doing the tests.
It seems like you're suggesting a change to the map design. If it had been covered in snow, it might have looked more appealing.
Perhaps, even though some snow is present nearby, I think they don’t want all the fresh maps to appear the same, and a completely white environment can feel quite dull. If you’re playing on a final stand server where every map looks identical, it can get pretty monotonous, especially when everything is just white and boring.
It's true, likely the changes were made to differentiate it from other maps, which tend to be snowy, while this one stands out as different.
