The game functioned properly, but occasionally the mouse pauses briefly during play (every 20–30 seconds). I recall experiencing this problem on a Windows 7 laptop and resolved it by adjusting the CPU priority to normal. Now that I'm using Windows 8.1, I don't know what to do!

It's happening everywhere but only on my computer, so I assume the issue isn't with the connection.

It occurred to me during my wireless card usage, but the issue vanished once I switched to a cable connection.
