Sounds like a scaling issue, try setting it to 1280x720 and see what happens. I have taken for granted 2 things. 1 you are using a low res because your system can't run it any higher 2 your TV is 1080p Remember that an LCD display is a fixed resolution, any resolution you try and send it that isn't its native it has to then scale to its native before displaying it, 1280x720 will almost certainly be supported well by the scaler in the TV.

Maybe the issue relates to how the display scales between your PC and TV. Try using windowed mode and observe any changes in behavior. Are you attempting to use that sinful res on a 1080p screen?

It works when I set it, but switching between apps causes the issue again. Also, restarting it doesn’t fix it—it’s likely related to HD (720p/1368x768 max), and I really want it at 1080p.

I hope it runs at 1080p. The windowed mode works well—it doesn’t show any black bars, and it’s properly displayed.

This TV has a resolution of 1360x768 pixels. It looks like a monitor rather than a TV, and it seems to be causing some confusion. Let me figure out the exact model for you.

This project is really exciting, especially with the Sony KLV-32BX320. I’m glad I documented everything on my notepad... updating the firmware a few months back made a big difference.

Sure, follow the advice of Askew and test it at 720 or 768p to see what effects it has on the display.

This person didn’t know about a 1366x768 TV until now. It’s pretty wild what they didn’t realize.

Both projects are available, but after I relaunched I still faced the issue. My Windows remains at 1360x768, and it seems like a TV is involved.
