The game frequently crashes during play in the "Operation metro" map. Is this a common problem among players? The recommended fixes from EA haven’t resolved the issue.

Repairing the game and fixing it are similar actions, but they can differ in approach and outcome.

What a mess! Did you really think you could just reboot it all in a flash?

Perhaps you didn't remove the game at all. You just reinstalled it again quickly... I attempted to uninstall through Origin, which then directed me to the Control Panel. There, it was removed there. It took a moment for the process to finish, which makes me question whether it actually completed the removal. It claimed the uninstallation was done via Origin and no longer appeared in the Control Panel, but I suspect it likely downloaded the game within a short time.

Verify your C drive; if it’s missing, the file is gone. The game removes itself quickly, but downloading should take over 5 hours. If it doesn’t vanish, look for the game in Origin files within the program folder and remove it there. Afterward, reinstall it. A progress bar should appear at the bottom left once it’s installed.

It took me half an hour to download the initial version. The file was just 20GB, and it seems the game wasn't removed.
