I experienced the same issue after playing BF4 since it uses an updated version of PB. Should I reinstall BF3, and it should fix it? It worked for me!

Following the execution of pbsvc.exe, I encountered this output. It's late now, so I'll attempt it again tomorrow to determine if it resolved the issue. Initial tests for PunkBuster Service (v0.991) on Windows NT 6.2 (64-bit) showed PnkBstrA running with version OK. The service extraction and port settings were confirmed. Firewall was off, and PnkBstrA sent a packet successfully. I received responses indicating successful sending and receiving. The PnkBstrB install instance started without problems. Ports 44301 and 45301 worked correctly. I observed the PnkBstrB process loading properly. The driver check returned not found, but I manually stopped the service and removed the test file. All tests completed successfully.
The test appears to work. If issues persist, I recommend downloading pbsetup and installing the latest bf3 punkbuster from the provided link.
