Currently, you can find great deals on Origin. Purchasing Battlefield 1 and Star Wars Battlefront (including the Season Pass) at the same cost is possible. Would you prefer a version that offers more value overall? (It's unlikely you'll opt for the Season Pass for BF1.)

Battlefront feels more like a relic than a game, while Battlefield 1 is at least current and engaging. I’d avoid both since one is a static shooter and the other tries too hard to sound historical despite being a war game.

I favor BF1 because Star Wars doesn’t appeal to me. Plus, I really enjoy WW1!

PC player numbers for BF1: 72,161 versus SW BF: 10,797. Uncertain if significant updates were made after release; if not, the game feels very basic. The flight controls are poor.

Beyond impressive visuals and engaging gameplay, BF1 feels like a smaller version of BF4. Updating BF4 with BF1 graphics could make it a major success. Still, I’d prefer BF1 since it’s not as exciting as BF4 (I personally don’t enjoy the weapons or WW1 themes). Nonetheless, it remains a solid title.

Honestly, neither offers good value, even during sales. If I had to pick, I’d choose bf1 since it has more players online. Also, Battlefront lacks a single-player campaign, which highlights something about EA.

ELucid has an incorrect view. BF1 is a solid investment.
