bf1 stuttering
bf1 stuttering
VRM = Voltage Regulator Module, they manage the power supply to the CPU. If this occurs, the optimal approach is to lower the voltage and consequently the power output during overclocking.
At this stage it remains just a suggestion; you should check for any irregular power fluctuations.
I lowered the oc and voltage, and currently I'm in a BF match without any FPS drops so far.
DX12 didn't function correctly on BF1 no matter what hardware you used, so I reached out. On my system it just causes stuttering without end. Your memory settings aren't helping because with dual channel it only covers the first 4GB. It's hard to say if that would fix your problem. Using more than the 2GB VRAM buffer of the 750 Ti could also lead to frame pacing issues. If you have MSI Afterburning installed, it will show how much VRAM is being used.
i don't believe it's the gpu since i played mw 2019 and never faced such issues; it requires significantly more gpu power compared to bf1, which mainly uses the cpu.
You might have been limiting performance due to excessive heat in the motherboard's VRM.
Remove the case covers and use a fan to cool the internal components.
Check if this resolves the issue.
If successful, consider improving the case's cooling system.
now I'm considering getting a new motherboard and more RAM. I've already taken off the side panel.
