I can only choose one option, so let me persuade you. (Ref: Titanfall 2)

For Team Fortress 2, BF1 is a solid choice even though I haven’t played either. From what I’ve noticed, more folks seem to be having fun with BF1.

BF1 lasts longer compared to TF2, which is mostly due to the campaign. Both titles feel a bit dull to me, so I ended up leaving them both. Now I mainly play Overwatch and Kotaku.

The question is, since I won’t purchase DLCs, does that mean the game lasts much longer?

I love playing Battlefield 1 there aren't people flying around and stuff and there's a lot of teamplay (most of the time) The DLCs in BF1 are huge indeed, but the game itself is awesome as hell. I have 250hours right now and its nowhere near boring. (no DLC released yet)

Check out two distinct games. Watch YouTube clips on both (gameplay from "lets players" or live streams) and pick the one that fits you better. BF 1 should stay popular for a while before the next update. It's hard to predict how TF2 will perform in the coming six months.

Battlefront 2015? That's a joke, right? The premium edition is definitely worth it.

They become available once the game ends and offer free DLCs such as night operation maps in BF4 plus community features.

You're looking for a more challenging or complex BF experience, perhaps with a WW1 twist. While I appreciate the overall enjoyment, I find the BF gameplay quite repetitive. It has a lot of elements, but I haven't completed it myself. The difficulty really depends on your abilities and what you're used to. You might benefit from having more teammates.
