BF1, BF4, or Rainbow Six Siege – strategic gameplay across platforms.
Initially comparing BF4 and BF1, the main concern is avoiding the disappointment of Star Wars Battlefront, which had impressive visuals but became monotonous after a couple of months. BF4, released in 2013, maintains strong graphics quality. R6S also appears appealing based on videos I've seen. Which one stands out as the superior choice?
I love and have tried all the titles you mentioned... But not as much anymore. I spent around 80 hours on BF1, about 120 on BF4 (350+ on RB6) and roughly 30 on RB6. For me, any game tends to lose its appeal. BF1 feels too basic (and I really dislike the progression). RB6 is solid but demands deep map knowledge and exploits, which makes it tough against skilled opponents—especially since it's buggy compared to smoother titles like BF4. YouTube creators often showcase RB6 in a polished way; it looks great if you know the maps and characters. Having a good team helps, or at least playing solo without full knowledge, can be frustrating because you keep dying. All games seem to have a solid player community on PC. https://bf4stats.com/ http://bf1stats.com/ http://steamcharts.com/app/359550 I don’t think BF1 will follow the path of BFH or SWBF; it’s better than those and more detailed, but it’s worth noting that as DLC releases, the player base can shrink. As for Overwatch? Even though you mention them, I mostly play Overwatch and Heros of the Storm—the latter is free. This might just reflect my current preferences. Overwatch is a first-person team game (RB6) with competitive or casual modes—balanced and regularly updated. Honestly, RB6 is often refreshed, and BF1 has seen updates too. I’m considering giving BF1 another shot though; it seems to have been improved since my last playthrough.
