others also think that way. It seems like a reworked version of BF4, with similar mechanics but some tweaks. Weapons behave more like BF3/4 tanks, and the crew size is the main difference. The maps are mostly the same, just with small additions like gas masks. I personally skip it.

I've only tried the Alpha so far, not the new Beta. Compared to Bf4, it felt much less detailed and focused. The gameplay was essentially the same across classes except for sniper, and it seemed overly simplistic. I plan to try the Beta tomorrow. It seems many of the same problems from the Alpha remain. It no longer feels like a true Battlefield experience—it's just a basic run'n'gun in small areas.

I didn’t have that feeling. Playing a few hundred hours of BF4 and BF1 was refreshing. I wouldn’t have bought it if not for the limitations of my rig.

It's actually working well since it's still in beta. Maybe the final version will improve. Personally, I think F3 is the best despite the issues, and as more updates come, I'm getting used to higher expectations.

It seems most of the experience revolves around the same game modes. They should come up with fresh ideas. Right now, the beta offers just conquest and rush options.

BF4 was essentially a rebranding of BF3. Why the differences with BF1? I get it, you probably won’t care about this version.

It’s a much improved visual experience, fresh environment, updated movement systems, and entirely new weapon options. I’m not sure about your expectations. If you’re looking for a detailed simulation, try playing Arma 3. Battlefield often sits right in the middle between COD and Arma in terms of gameplay, which is what players are after.

Battlefield is essentially COD, but with significantly more glitches, more cheaters, and a much more self-assured crowd.

I just got access to it now, so I’ll share my thoughts. The graphics look good, but the gameplay feels really off—like a chaotic mess compared to BF4. BF3 had solid infantry combat, whereas this version has even more issues with its code. It’s hard to believe how much worse it could be.

It’s completely unfamiliar to me—new visuals and effects, fresh animations, altered gun handling, changed bullet behavior. Feedback from hits is clearer, the tracer looks great, vehicles behave differently. It doesn’t remind me of BF4; I can see the battlefield, which is exactly what I meant.
