BF V performance issues with Ryzen 7 2700 at low frame rates
He mentioned performance issues in Battlefield 5, especially with FPS drops and overall slow speed on his current setup. His previous rig struggled mainly because the i5 2500K was handling only the workload. I recommended upgrading to a more powerful platform, which led us to a new build. The new system features a Ryzen 7 2700, an Asus ROG STRIX B450f, and a GTX 970, with a solid SSD and decent RAM. After setting everything up, the performance improved noticeably—especially during the 64-player conquest mode. While FPS still wasn’t perfect, it was much better than before. I checked for updates, tried different settings, and even considered moving to an M2 SSD, but results were mixed. Overall, the new rig works well at the moment, though we’re still looking for further optimization.
