Never experienced RAM issues before. 1.45V works best for regular use. 1.35V is a more cautious value chosen by many XMP profiles. Overclocking allows higher voltages, of course.
Operating at 1.50v 16-16-16-36 4000mhz, bench setup 14-14-14-34 1.55-1.60v TRFC 444. Recovery time 8t. Cl17 4000 suitable for 1.50v or lower. Kit rated 4267mhz CL19's. 1.40v B-die kits perform best with voltage. Keep them cool as much as possible. Aim for 40c max temperature with precise timing (Cl14).
I followed your suggestion and increased the voltage to 1.4. The system now reads 17 19 19 39 4000. My RAM can't handle 17 17 17 37, but the temperatures are stable at 52°C after 30 minutes of operation.
Appearance improved. Temperatures remain manageable. Position a fan directly on the memory to check if temperatures decrease slightly. This may aid long-term reliability.
